It offers a full breakfast menu beginning at 6 a.m., a complete selection of lunch and dinner foods, and a fully licensed bar service. We are famous for our generous breakfasts, peameal bacon sandwiches, fish and chips, and fast and friendly service. It is the meeting place for vendors and customers who like to start their days early with a good breakfast and a bottomless cup of coffee.
We have our fully licensed patio on the west side of the South Market with a great view of the Iron Building during the summer. We have been voted one of the best breakfast places in the city by Cheap Eats of Toronto. We've also been recognized for serving one of the top three Reuben sandwiches in town by Toronto Life magazine. Paddington’s is a favourite tourist attraction in the Market and has one of the great views of the neighbourhood from the west window.

The smells, the foods, the people and the busy bustle of movement lure me here often on a Saturday morning, and there’s no other place I’d rather be in Toronto at this time of day. While most people are still catching up on the seasonal buying of pens and pencils, there are many for whom fall shopping is about the meat.
That’s because it’s by far the best time of year for both fresh lamb and game meat — venison, elk and moose steaks. As a result, this time of year, St. Lawrence Market is packed with carnivores. Lucky for those who work up a powerful thirst while bringing home the bacon, Paddington’s Pump — hiding in plain sight, right by the front door — serves both beer and more bacon.
Paddington’s Pump is better known as Home of the Oink, one of the market’s peameal sandwich vendors. Its bar area is a quirky, 1970s-era wood-panelled, neon and vanity light-lit, sit-down bar — wildly underused, at least according to our thorough and scientific survey (which came about by peering through the glass and dropping in on several consecutive Saturday afternoons) To the full article CLICK HERE
